Samtidigt rapporterar flera användare att kameran kan bli överhettad vid längre inspelningar i hög upplösning och att GPS saknas. Bildkvaliteten i svagt ljus ligger också bakom vissa konkurrenter. Kitet är relativt dyrt, men för seriösa kreatörer som mest filmar i bra ljus ger det mycket bekvämlighet och ett mycket komplett paket.

The battery flap is very difficult to operate while in use... on the second time using on a run, when replacing the battery (while running) it was possible to insert the battery the wrong way round and close the battery flap. This resulted in not being able to open the flap at all... after the run, I was able to open the flap using force and other tools, but now the flap falls off every time I open the flap... so I can't replace the battery while running any more for fear of losing the flap. Surely it should not be possible to insert the battery the wrong way and then close the flap. Other than that, the product is good.

bought to upgrade from the 11black.. seem almost the same but i like hte screen format option for a few of the recordings.. also that there is a normal tripod hole under it. as usual fab video quality and sound seems to be better.

The gopro is amazing really good for the price I take it everywhere I go the battery is really good last a long time the picture is really good really easy to use you can connect it to your phone and take pictures and videos from your phone

Lots of good features, however 30 minutes into my journey and it's shutting down because its overheating. Not what I'd expect for possibly the leading brand of action camera's latest model. I originally thought it was shutting down due to the battery. *which again is pretty useless only lasts about 1hr30min I'm not sure if I've just got a duff one but it's not fit for purpose for me. I was looking to get more battery's and could have managed swapping out the battery every time I stop. But the overheating isn't something that I can change or accept. I'm not the only person either. So I'll be looking to return it after I have finished this review.
