Edimax WiFi Repeater EW-7438RPnAir mit EdiRange-App EW-7438RPn Air 300 MBit/s

I use this as a wi-fi access point in place of an old Linksys WAP54G that had quit working. It's much smaller, has a stronger signal & a higher throughput than the old one & reaches much further in the house. I would buy another one if my other extender ever fails. It was simple to configure and very intuitive. Nice product - low price.

I tried everything but the connection was exactly the same it didn’t change anything if not made it slower

The five stars is for their tech support. 4 Stars for functionality. I had the unit stored for two years and when I went to use it again I had some issue's ( my own fault ) so I called tech support for Edimax and the guy was pleasant, patient and most importantly for me was his English was excellent. I mean that in a good way.

I liked it while it worked, but there are so many better options out there. And while three years is three years, I kind of felt like it should last as long as most other electronics, but it just didn't. It just gave up one day last year and that was it. I would've bought another, but I get pretty good signal at my place, and my next upgrade will be the Google wifi system.

low power ap provides excellent 2.4 GHz spot coverage. just what I hoped for.
