Bought this for a Raspberry Pi project and it worked like a charm. Easy to use, and a breeze to get working. Would buy again.

I have been using the STARTECH wifi key for a long time now, and it works perfectly...no internet outages since it was installed...so I trust the STARTECH wifi key.

I'm very disappointed with this device. It will not connect for any length of time to the network. The router is located about 10 feet, I'm connected to it now with my phone writing this review. I know that the network is working. I'm using this on a Linux box that has the recommended kernel.

Bought it when the WIFI card on my MBP bit the dust. I like just leaving it in the USB port and not worrying about breaking it off. When waking the computer from sleep it takes a good 15-20 seconds to reconnect, and doesn't seem to remember known connections after a restart, forcing you to re-enter network passwords. Connection speed seems to be suitable for basic browsing and streaming. Overall a cheap, but not perfect, solution to connecting to wifi networks.

Works great out of box. Automatically connects. Good price.
