Pixi Rose Tonic

I have sensitive skin and only started using this about three days ago, I usually use the vitamin C one but wanted a change. So far it has been gentle and has caused no irritation, its quite soothing and very fresh.

Bought this to try after hearing lots of great things about it. And picked the Rose one as read it was best for sensitive skin. Unfortunately I really didn’t like the smell and found it quite strong. Although I did still try it and left my face so soft. Repurchased I’m different type.

I love the smell of rose, however although this toner is refreshing and soothing after a couple minutes, it gave me forehead bumps. I don't get acne much, and my skin isn't too sensitive, so maybe it was the formula. My skin gets red right after applying but then it calms down. I use it in combination with the pixi rose oil blend which moisturizes great but also contains rose essential oil which is said to be harmful to the face. I won't be repurchasing sadly after I finish them. But it might work for someone with less sensitive skin maybe?

2nd ingredient of this product is Perfume (Rose Water), do not buy this product because the formula is absolutely horrible and it can irritate your skin, cause breakouts in the long run. There's no reason for PIXI to put irritating fragrance in their products especially with the high concentration that this Tonic possesses, especially with that price point for such a tiny bottle.

I'm a rose skincare lover, and of the Rose line from Pixi, this item is my favorite of what I've tried so far. On the end of my second bottle of this and nothing beats the fragrance and how soft your skin feels when using. The rose scent is perfect, what a mood lifter. I use it was a refresher in the morning.
