The monitor is great for letting me know when my baby is crying, but it doesn't have an easy way to "listen in". I thought the monitor would give me a continuous feed, but this is not true. It only activates when it detects a loud enough noise, or when the volume buttons are pushed. I therefore find myself adjusting the volume a lot to "check in" on my little one. Otherwise it seems to work well and has a great range around my house (around 2500 as ft, AND it worked for a distance outside when I went to check the mail, take out garbage cans, etx).*disclaimer:they wanted me to add that I was motivated to write this review from an email, and received a promo code for a future producg.

First, it is crystal clear, and I have no problems either hearing the baby or the baby hearing me. It must be that DECT Technology. I also love the fact that it uses an encrypted connection, so I don't have to worry about any possible intruders listening in. Not only that, but this monitor doubles as a nightlight, and it even soothes the baby to sleep with lullabies. Highly recommended.

I bought this unit back in 2018 and one year later it wouldn’t hold a charge. My sister has the same one so I took her fully charged battery and put it into my parent unit and it still said “low battery”. So I contacted customer service twice with no response. I never took it off the base and used it that way for months. Now I am able to have it off the base for 1-2 hours at a time but it will often sound glitchy (video attached). Also it randomly turns off if not on the base. Super frustrating since it was $100+.

I love this monitor. I can go 100 yards to my barn or chicken coop and it still works. We LOVE being able to talk to our kids through it too, especially if I can't get there immediately. My son loves the little songs and the night light is helpful. Our only problem is that I don't have money for a new one and our dog dropped the parent device into a bucket of water and it did not survive. I wish I could just purchase an extra monitor.

I didn’t want to spend this much on a monitor because we have video surveillance too. However this was totally worth it. We’ve gone through several sound monitors. They just don’t last. And the good ones are expensive. We use a sound machine and as long as the two are not near each other, the monitor does not pick up the sound machine noise. Only makes sound when the child does and that’s EXACTLY what I was looking for.
