I purchased these shoes some time ago. During extended use, specifically when covering distances exceeding five miles, I observed a significant increase in temperature within the footwear, and the internal honeycomb structure became noticeable. Furthermore, the shoes did not provide adequate stability during downhill descents. After approximately 3 months of use, the shoes began to exhibit tearing in several areas.

The first time I wore these was for a flat 1-mile hike and I got a horrible blister on my left heel (not unexpected for a new shoe) and they felt very tight in the toe box. After the blister had healed, I loosened the laces and wore them on a 3-mile hike with elevation gain and my entire foot from the arch to my toes became numb. These are way beyond snug in the mid sole and eye stay (and, yes, I had to look up the parts of the shoe).

Great boot with the exception of top eyelids which are made out of cloth. The shoelaces case enough abrasion to cut through after only three months. Exchange for a new pair without issue.

I purchased these to hike the Cotswold Way in England (102 miles). At about mile 50 we walked through tall wet grass and the water that fell onto my feet made my toes wet— soaked through smart wool socks. I trained in these boots four about 8 weeks (20miles per week avg) without rain or wet conditions. These are super comfortable and supportive but I have to fire them because my next big walk is the West Highland Way which will surely Be wet. So disappointing.

Absolutely love these hiking boots. I bought them for a trip to Glacier NP and without even breaking them in, they were comfortable and caused me no issues. Even after 14 miles in one day, I had no blisters! These boots offer great support.
