Bridgestone Potenza S001 är ett max performance sommardäck som framför allt uppskattas för sina egenskaper på torrt underlag. Förare rapporterar mycket bra torrgrepp, skarp styrkänsla och god stabilitet, vilket gör däcket lämpat för sportig körning och högre hastigheter.[2][6][12][14] Det finns dock tydliga nackdelar: många omdömen beskriver våtgreppet som bara medelbra eller svagt, vilket kan minska förtroendet i kraftigt regn.[2][10] Dessutom klagar många användare på hög ljudnivå och en ganska hård åkkomfort, särskilt på runflat-versionerna.[2][8][10] Även livslängden får blandade betyg; vissa får bra körsträcka medan andra tycker att däcket slits fort.[2][10][14] Däcket passar därför bäst för köpare som prioriterar sportig torrprestanda framför komfort och toppresultat på vått väglag.

I've been driving this tire every summer for five years. When he bought the BMW, he was on it. The tire is pleasantly quiet and comfortable.

This rubber is very heavy and tough. Ideal only for the track. around the city and uneven roads one pain.

Extreme sawtooth despite the regular wheel position change. Insufficient adhesion on wet. With residual profile of 3 mm after 6 seasons and 43,500 km are thrown away and replaced by Michelin PS4. Octavia RS TDI, 135 kW, 380 Nm, Combi, Family Carriage, Defensive Driving Profile, 225 / 40R18 (92Y)

Good on dry roads, partly unpredictable in the wet. The loudest and most fuel-guzzling tire I've ever had on a car. (with winter tires in the same width my car consumes over 0.5 liters less gasoline) On the 10,000km he has lost despite quiet driving almost 3mm profile, so he will hold no 30,000km.
