Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127 är ett sportigt sommardäck med mycket bra grepp och korta bromssträckor på både våta och torra vägar. Användare och tester lyfter särskilt fram den stabila väghållningen och precisa styrresponsen i högre hastigheter, tack vare den avancerade silica-gummiblandningen och de låsande spåren. Samtidigt är däcket relativt tyst och bekvämt för att vara ett ultra-high-performance däck och har helt okej livslängd. Nackdelen är att det tydligt är ett sommardäck: vid låga temperaturer och på snö eller is minskar greppet snabbt. På mycket dåliga vägar kan komforten upplevas som ganska hård, och det finns touringdäck som är mer bränslesnåla. För förare som vill köra säkert och piggt på sommaren utan att offra all komfort är det ändå ett starkt val.

Mycket tysta med låg förbrukning. Bilen går i 100 km/h med en förbrukning om 20,5 kWh/mil vilket är bra med 21" och 305 mm breda däck!

The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).
