Pirelli CITY DEMON 2.75-18 TL, Däck för motorcykel främre

Elderly, 80 years old, I still ride a motorcycle covering about 1,500 / 2,000 km a year, mainly in spring / summer. Mixed hilly / alpine routes at a reasonable speed in proportion to the age and the vehicle Kawasaki z 200 from 1980. Average duration of the trips 2/3 hours, the important thing is to go and have fun.

Fitted these in Oct 2017. Bike has only been on the road since July 2019. Tyres have some 1,800k. They are cracking on the centre treads. Biggest worry is performance on damp roads. I have very little confidence in these tyres even at moderate speeds and lean angles. Great in the dry but completely different on a wet road. Replacing with ME22.

Rear tire that I have put on the front. It match my Pirelli MT66 170 / 80S15 on the rear perfectly, they both have the exact same width chicken strips. Steering is neutral, grip is excellent, and so far wear can not be detected. I knew I took a slight risk fitting this tire at the front, but I wanted a Pirelli and I wanted a tube type tire since it has the correct bead profile for the rim. Naturally, I fitted the tire in the reverse direction, as we do when using a tire on the "wrong" wheel. If you choose to try the same thing, do so at your own risk.

The tire was worn after 3 weeks of quiet driving with light mc. Useless.
