Toyo Open Country U/T

I just bought 4 for my Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4, FANTASTIC!!

I don’t recommend these tires because: 1. Fuel efficiency is terrible - religiously track my mpg. Have lost a calculated 2/mpg since installing these tires. 2. Road noise - I have tinnitus and notice significantly more road noise than the stock tires. Don’t know how anyone could say these are quiet. The good: 1. Traction 2. Ride comfort

Low mileage treadware. Right rear tread cap completely blown off at hwy speed. Destroyed right rear quarter panel. I would never buy these tires again even if they weren't just recently discontinued. I wonder why they were discontinued. Seems like a lot of tread separation stories around.

'04 RAV4 AWD - 215/70/16 OEM - These tires are fine if you never use them on the highway in snow. I actually like them for around town driving, even on gravel and dirt roads, and in the rain they're just okay. In the snow at highway speeds they are a complete nightmare even with AWD. Being Canadian, I can't recommend them for all season use. For the summer they'd be fine.

Jeep Liberty LTD - 235 70 16 - Compared to the Goodyear RSA I had on the Jeep when I bought it,it`s like nite and day,much quieter and smoother,and they handle very well wet or dry.A great purchase any way you look at it.
