Vredestein Ultrac Vorti+ är ett premium sommardäck för kraftfulla personbilar och SUV:ar. Tester och användaromdömen lyfter konsekvent fram mycket bra grepp och stabil hantering på torr väg, med exakt styrrespons. Motståndet mot vattenplaning är också en tydlig styrka och ger extra trygghet i hög fart på blöt motorväg. Komforten får ofta beröm och däcket upplevs som relativt tyst för att vara ett sportigt UHP-däck. Nackdelen är att flera oberoende tester rapporterar längre bromssträckor och sämre grepp på vått jämfört med de allra bästa konkurrenterna, särskilt vid panikbromsning. Rullmotståndet är högre, vilket kan öka bränsleförbrukningen något. Vissa tester ger mycket goda omdömen på vått, andra är mer kritiska, så förare som ofta kör i kraftigt regn bör ta hänsyn till den blandade bilden. Sammantaget passar däcket förare som främst värdesätter torrprestanda, stabilitet och komfort och accepterar en liten kompromiss i våtbromsning och ekonomi.

I have a set of these on my other FWD car size 225/40/18 and have covered over 10,000 spirited miles on them and still have 5.5mm of tread left on the fronts. In my opinion you cannot get a better all round tyre. I have tried all of the other 'big' name brands over the years and none match these for grip, braking, cornering in both wet and dry and most importantly wear. I have so much more confidence when driving with these tyres. Try them you won't be disappointed. That is why I am now looking to buy and fit them now to my other car. Highly recommended and great value for money to boot.
