Ive had this printer for 4years, i stopped using it for a year and ive turned it back on this week only for every single thing i print to have a horizontal line running across each of the pictures which it didnt do before I have bought new ink (which also costed nearly £100), i have aligned the printer head so many times i ran out of paper. I have checked the nozzle more than 20 times and ive also cleaned the head more times than i can count. I have changed the paper and adjusted as needed. Nothing helped at all This wasted my sticker paper (around 50 pages) and my ink like no tomorrow. Absolutely terrible and there isnt any customer service to help either.

We got this printer in 2016 to replace an old Brother that had worn out. We don't use every day, and at first it was only on occasion, but since 2020 we've been working from home so we print quite a bit now. Mostly just b&w docs, but I've printed Christmas cards, invitations, and photos for framing on it, and they all have come out nicely with no problems, and the printer is still working like new. It hardly every has a paper jam (like less than once a year), and when it does happen it's easy to remedy. I do have 2 complaints: 1) it does use a lot of ink, so we try to limit how much color prints we make. We don't need the color ink a lot so this isn't a big issue for us 2) If any of the color inks are out, there's no option to only use the black ink. I remember the Brother printer we had could do that, and the lack of that option makes no sense. Overall, after 7 years we are very happy with this printer.

After having to return the first one I purchased because it was defective, I engaged in battle with this product. Once you got it to print, the quality was good. HOWEVER, Epson spring a lovely surprise on their customers by way of a print counter. When the counter hits a magic number, despite all being well, the printer deems the ink pads to be full and becomes unusable. "Breaking an entire device because some sponges might be saturated is an impressive move, even for an inkjet printer manufacturer." I'm currently struggling to find a workaround for this. I suspect it's time for a new (non Epson) printer...

I use this printer for making art prints on textured inkjet paper, it's really excellent. Prints everything from 3.5x5inch up to A3 for me. Scanner is decent too and the epson app I use has done the job so far. There is a thick paper setting accessible through the printer screen which has been life changing.

This was a super printer, print quality for photos very good. Plain paper printing was average, I have found HP photo printers perform better on plain paper but not as good for photos as the Epson. Unfortunately after only 2 years an error appeared which despite much searching was unable to fix. As is with most home printers I was not able to find anyone to repair it or even quote for a repair. So sadly it has been confined to the recycle center and been replaced with the updated xp-670 model. I hope that lasts a bit longer
