Nikon BLIXT SB-5000

I am impressed with the integration of the flash with my Z7II. I have only taken a few test shots so far. The results have been great and the flash has been easy to use.

In my studio got all my 5 x Nikon SB-5000 Speedlight's Flash to work on radio control with Nikon camera D850 / Nikon WR-R11a (if are working get a green light with WR11a) and Speedlight each with link green light radio is working. In SB-5000 menu link mode on pairing. Don't have to use Nikon SU-800 wireless Speedlight Commander where every time have to recharge Digital CR-123 Lithium-ion 650mAh 3V battery. In each SB-5000 4 x AA Panasonic eneloop pro 1.2V 2450 mAh batteries (black) and with each use Nikon SD-9 High Performance Battery Pack with 8 AA batteries (total 60 x AA) have to recharge them when batteries are low! Using this flash on my D750. First to confuse about the selection on the menu, after spending time to play around on the flash, it seems OK for now!

This is an excellent flash with all the features youll ever need. I use probably 1/6 of the features but I believe in buying the best and growing into things when it comes to cameras and accessories. On a personal note I only buy Nikon. I keep my equipment for many years and I take care of it. This pairs very nice with D750 and I literally waited 15 years to upgrade recently (had an older D90 with SB-700). I see a lot of people buying other brands...but have to say that Nikon designs products to match the camera, lens etc to their brand....so to me any other choice is a step backwards.

I thought there was not much difference between SB-910 and this but boy was I wrong. You have to see it to believe it. It can do more and the modeling light will allow you to shoot at slow shutter and not have to worry about the curtain closing.
