Olympus FL-LM3 - Löstagbar blixt - 9.1 (m) - för OM-D E-M5 Mark II

I use the Olympus flash to trigger my Olympus 900 flash unit via RC. Of course, the flash will set off an older Olympus flash as it is a light slave. The FL+LM3 and the 900 work together through the camera. Best combo ever in my very humble opinion.

I recommend keeping a back up flash because of the issues I had with my flash. I use them primarily in a housing for underwater photos. No matter what, make sure the flash will go off BEFORE you put it in the housing. It has to be jiggled into position, and if it is not in perfectly, it will not fire. Test one more time in housing. Underwater, nothing you can do. We had a flash not function shortly after purchase; in addition to that it got extremely hot. Very, very hot. The warranty return through the manufacturer is really complex and time consuming. I hadn't bought the first flash from B&H, but I have purchased all my other gear here because I trust them to take care of me.

Since I bought a new lens for my Olympus Pen E-PL5, (12-40mm Pro) the old flash 4FS1 cannot be used. I bought the Olympus FL-LM3 after reading that this flash would work on my Pen E-PL5. It doesn't. Olympus should make a compact flash (not one that you need a left hand held bracket - because the proper flash it relatively large) to fit old cameras. This flash (FL-LM3) is standard equipment for the new Pen F series so why not one for those who don't upgrade cameras every year or so!

I'm absolutely pleased with the capabilities I've experienced using this FL-LM3 flash.

The Panasonic GX-8 does not have built-in flash and this little wonder is the perfect (near-perfect) solution. It is beautifully built and has a full range of vertical AND horizontal movements (360) with precise clicks. In spite of the small GN I am able to use it for bounce very effectively in a room with 11-12 foot ceilings with ISO 400-640. The only issue is the non-standard hotshoe rail length of the camera body so the flash does not sit properly to a click-lock position in the shoe. I will have to trim the flash foot plastic to shorten it to fit properly.
