Roland BA-330 Bärbart digitalt 4-kanaligt stereo PA-system

We bought this system for smaller events that just needed a mic or two, and maybe a guitar or keyboard. Have only used it a few times, but so far have been very impressed. The quality is fantastic. It's very solid feeling. I like that you can either put it up on a speaker stand, or pull out the small front leg and angle it up while on the ground. Sound is very loud and clear considering it's only running off 8 AA batteries. We'll plug it in when a power outlet is available. But if not, the batteries are more than enough to power the system.

The BA-330 speaker(s) have lots of virtues: volume, clean sound, portability! But, audio nuances from my connected keyboard are lost, in comparison to those subtle, but necessary tones coming from headphones I am using. The BA-330 sounds like a speaker (which it is) and not like the instrument I'm playing. Tones intended to be acoustic (piano, guitar, strings, etc.) sound overly electronic. This speaker probably would work fine for Rock, synth sounds, but not for Jazz, Standards, orchestral tunes to my liking. The BA-330 does not sound as authentic as what's being used in YouTube video clips for keyboard music. Rated the BA-330 4 stars for its size, portability, power, clean, but overly electronic audio tone.VM

I am a wedding Musician/DJ. I purchased the BA-330 for a ceremony location that was too far away to run power to. It was more than loud enough for my classical guitar and recorded music to be heard by 115 people. I was so happy with it that I bought another one. I always use them for the ceremonies now. (One for me and one for the officiant) It is so quick to pack up that I always make it to my setup at the cocktail hour on time and without looking exhausted. I have also used this unit at several small hall functions and even a pub gig one night. (I have only put acoustic guitar, vocals, and recorded music through it). It has been very reliable for me.

This Pa system is great for my use as a professional musician. I can use Vocals, Guitar, and 'Ukulele, all at the same time with beyond excellent sound quality. The fact that it runs on battery power as well as ac adaptor is awesome and allowed me to take outdoors gigs that require battery power. Battery life is from 8-15 hours depending on what batteries you use and settings. Plenty for a gig. A must buy for solo musicians or 2 person groups. Has a jack for mp3 players as well. and can link additional Ba 330's together for more sound and instruments.

I perform solo acoustic shows, an average of 3 to 4 a week, and thought this would be a good alternative to having to carry a full PA system out to each show. This is a quality sounding PA, and is perfect for smaller venues.
