This is my first Metabo tool. In order of preference, I usually buy Makita, Dewalt or Milwaukee gear. This little 12v battery drill/driver is exactly what I was looking for for small tight spots and I use it to hold my tungstens when I'm grinding them. I've used it to drill some metal and put screws into wall-plugs too. I'm impressed with the build quality, especially considering the price point. I would choose this over a Bosch drill as I think Bosch is a compromise over Makita (quality-wise) but this Metabo is alot cheaper. But not 'Chinese' un-branded cheap. It came with two batteries and a charger too. Well happy with it. I might consider Metabo for something bigger after this first one. Maybe even a saw. I'm not a professional reviewer, but I write ads for living, which might make me sound a bit of a shill, but I am the fussiest **nt around when it comes to tool purchases. Pleased with this purchase.
