Yes buy the Marantz CD60 and also buy the matching Marantz 40n , for me the cd 60 is less fussy looking than the cd 50 it also has the USB socket on the front , the fact that i dont question the sound quality or build speakes for itself , i prefere the Marantz cd 60 and 40n amp over the marantz 50's the 40n amp is better built and according to AI it handles 4 ohm sperkers and also slightly lower sensitivity better than the 50 amp (ask dealer if this is correct) , THE CD 60 IS DESIGNED TO GO WITH THE 40n. i use q acoustic 6 ohn 5050 with these they have plenty of slam and clarity , also consider kef and dali

Purchased the Marantz CD60 a few weeks ago & still very happy with the sound quality. Much greater depth & overall sound quality over my v.old Sony MXD-D4 combined CD/MD player. Great buy. Only little niggle is no track name readout. Just have to refer to the CD notes instead!
