I’m just getting back into biking. Recently traded out my old Stumpjumper for a comfort bike. I needed a new helmet so purchased 4 different helmets online during the last sale. Got this one for $112.00. I’m probably going to keep this one. I have two remaining contenders. What I like about this helmet is the fit. The visor is nice and it’s comfortable with my sunglasses. Minus 2 stars for the strap. The buckle is heavy and the straps don’t stay in the position I put them in. The ventilation is outstanding on this helmet.

I love it; it is incredibly comfortable and feels like it’s giving your head a hug when you put it on. The adjustment dial works really well, adding to comfort. My only complaint is the buckle, and somewhat the strap. The buckle is weirdly small, requiring me to angle my fingers to be able to squeeze/open it, and both it and the strap feel pretty flimsy, but that could be my imagination. If it had a proper sized buck—or even better, a magnetic clip and lock—it’d be an easy 5 stars.

Recently got into an accident, flipping over my handlebars. This Giro Agilis helmet truly saved my life. Had a pretty bad impact on the front right side of my head and the MIPS protection truly works. I landed pretty hard but had no injury or pain whatsoever to my head. Also I thought the helmet would be all scratched up but nope! Very minimal scratch damage! Highly recommend.

Guess I was distracted, hit a speed bump and went down. Riding with friend who called ambulance as I was unconscious. Came to in ER, and I'm still a bit foggy days later but with no serious brain bleed, no broken bones or teeth. This helmet saved me on many fronts, and I think the MIPS technology was significant. So I'm purchasing another. I'm nearing 78 and my riding days are mostly a memory. Still a bit of a foggy one, but with lots of happy, fulfilling times!

Very comfortable, airy and solid helmet. Replacement for an old Bell. The Giro Agilis fulfills all my expectations. It is easy to adjust so that even when snug, it does not impede my riding comfort.
