As a middle aged female with dry skin I absolutely adore this face cream. No silicones/dimethicones high up in the ingredient list, I hate silicones!! This hydrates for hours on end, in fact I believe this could keep my face hydrated and moisturized for 2 days. It instantly plumps up my face and goes well underneath my CC cream which is a bit drying due to the high SPF mineral sunscreen content. I do have to let it soak in when I apply it in the morning before I apply my cc cream otherwise it balls up. At night after I put on a high percentage glycolic acid serum, this comforting cream calms down my skin and addresses the dry feeling that I get from the glycolic acid. I hope L'Occitane never d/c this or starts adding silicones as I would like to grow old with this delightful cream. Also look up the anti-aging benefits of shea butter it is fantastic.

Gave me red and scaly dermatitis on my face after 3 days of using it. It is very strongly fragranced so I think it was the fragrance that irritated my skin. The dermatitis healed and went away about a week after I stopped using it.

I absolutely adore this cream. It absorbs super fast and it doesn't leave me shiny. Smell is so comforting and nice. I have extremely dry cheeks with rosacea and this is the only creme that leaves my face feeling mousturised without being heavy, sticky or shiny. I had the 25% version as well and its horrible since it peels of in tiny chunks and pieces. For me this is the perfect solution for sensitive and dry skin.

This creme makes my skin hydrated but only when it applied, but once it absorbs like in the morning because i use it at night, my face come back dehydrated again. I dont think i want to purchase it again cause it doesn’t do something significant for the price I expected.

I'm not usually picky with these kind of products but with this one being pretty expensive, I feel like this isn't THAT amazing for it's price. Yes it moisturises my skin pretty well but that's about it. It doesn't "protect" the skin like it claims and it says this is for sensitive skin types, I disagree because a few times after I've put this on I felt a burning sensation and my face turned red. For me this is not a suitable moisturiser for the mornings because it's a bit too heavy and doesn't really make my skin feel like it can breathe (although I do not get breakouts with this). I use this in the night time only. I like the scent but if you don't like the smell of baby detergent/powder then I'd pass this one. I won't be buying this again just because I find that all this does is moisturise my face and I get the same results with a drugstore face cream half the price. Nothing really special.
