4711 Original Eau de Cologne är känd för sin friska citrus- och nerolidoft som många upplever som ren, lätt och uppiggande. Den är unisex och används ofta efter dusch, träning eller under mycket varma dagar som en snabb uppfräschning snarare än som en full parfym. Priset är lågt och de stora flaskorna gör det lätt att spraya generöst. Den största nackdelen är dock den mycket korta hållbarheten och svaga projektionen; flera källor anger att doften nästan är borta efter 30 till 120 minuter, så man måste fylla på ofta. En del tycker också att stilen känns gammaldags och mer som ett klassiskt aftershave. This is a classic scent which I've been used to in my childhood for a long time, it smells great in the summer and feels very refreshing. It has a short lifespan though and the scent will vanish within 20 minutes.

Not quite a long lasting as I would like. But, I suppose that "subtle" has it's place :)

I haven't used 4711 for almost 30 years. On a whim, I recently decided to give it a try. After all this time, 4711 still has the same clear, crisp, citrus scent that feels refreshing after shaving. And as an added bonus, it brought back many pleasant memories from my youth. And there you have it...my two scents.
