Memo Paris African Leather Eau de Parfum 75 ml

I made a blind buy of African Rose and while I like it a great deal, I am a bit disappointed. It has been described as African Leather with rose. I think there is not enough African Leather shining through. The rose heavily overpowers this fragrance in its opening. On it's dry down on my skin, it smells much more like Irish Leather than African Leather. I had actually sold a bottle of Irish Leather because it was too leathery. Yes, leather is in the name, but what makes African Leather great and a little divisive is it isn't overly leathery. I would argue that African Leather has superior floral scents and is an overall superior scent. There's just more variety in the scent profile. If I didn't own Danse Sauvage by Chris Collins, this would be my top rose fragrance. A great fragrance definitely, but I would reach for African Leather or Danse Sauvage first.
