Parfums de Marly Layton Exclusif är känd för sin starka prestanda och lyxiga, unika doft. LE was my first PDM after extensive testing. It is my 10/10 holy grail for colder days. I perceive this fragrance as very profound and rounded in a warm, unsweet direction. I can only describe a maximum of 30% similarity to Layton, as it takes a completely different path. I wear it on special days, more for formal occasions or of course when my brain craves it. A robust-warm scent that radiates dominance and elegance.

The Layton Exclusif smells distinctly more mature but is still at least as good as the original Layton. For me personally, it belongs to the top 5 of the best perfumes in this line. The opening immediately reveals the Layton DNA, but it's more complex, sweet and spicy. This fragrance radiates warmth and is very pleasant. It emphasizes elegance, self-confidence, and class. For those who really like the "normal" Layton but find it a bit too sweet, the Exclusif comes highly recommended. You can certainly debate the price a bit, which is why you can also test the fragrance first; just try out the Discovery Set and select 1-2 scents to decide for yourself. Perhaps you might find the fragrance a bit cheaper on one side or the other. The bottle looks very beautiful, and the cap alone is solid and high-quality, all nicely packaged and presented.
