I was, like some here, looking for an alternative to Aventus. CDN EDT has a very synthetic citrus opening. Then, smoky pineapple dominates for a long time. In direct comparison to the original (from 2021), CDN is significantly more synthetic and much coarser in construction. With an extremely strong longevity and sillage. Aventus is much finer, more nuanced, and more noble, but in comparison, it has almost no longevity left. CDN is already similar in the drydown, but unfortunately comes across as cheap. My wife has consistently chosen Aventus even after the umpteenth attempt.

it's not the original intense EDP it's an EDT at best.. last 2-3 hours with 8-10 sprays
