Den här externa hårddisken har 2 TB lagring i ett 2,5-tums hölje och ansluts via USB 3.2 Gen 1 med Micro-USB B. Det stötskyddade skalet och USB-ström gör den lämplig för vanlig mobil lagring och säkerhetskopior. Som mekanisk disk är den svagare vid intensiv användning med många små filer, och anslutningen kan vara en svag punkt vid frekvent användning.

So far I really like this device – I had bought it as a backup to my other external HDD, wanted the ability to password protect my data, and because I've got a tendency to drop/bump things. I don't have anything to compare it to in terms of transfer speed, but it seems to be alright. It's slim and reasonably lightweight. Unfortunately the software that comes with the device (or is available to download) looks to be fairly old (<2010) and isn't hugely intuitive. Its features support Firefox & IE, but not Chrome. When I tried to backup a different external HDD (~1tb data) to the Adata device, the software crashed and will no longer open that feature, so it doesn't quite seem to have worked out for me. I've switched to using Acronis, instead.

En silikonbeläggning och en inbyggd programvara skyddar hårddisken mot stötar. Krypteringen fungerar bara med Windows-datorer. Mac-användare har inte samma möjlighet.
