Never a problem with these because the design is shock protected. I have converted all my external drives to this brand.

Struggled to find a cable that will accept the SS cable that this lassie is designed with, wasn't made clear enough at purchase, can not find an adapter that it will fit into that can be added into my Mac mini, I need it to have a USB on one side of the port not 2x SS ports.
