This item did as I expected. I bought it as a external hard drive for a Dish Wally recorder. Due to Dish's requirements it had to be 2 GB or less which is hard to find with it's own power source. This item works great.

This says it comes preformatted as fat32. It does not. I purchased this for backup space for a ps3 and you cannot format it to fat32 without sacrificing a terabyte of space.
