We used the batteries that came with the torch, we didn’t use it often and after a few months the batteries needed replacing. We couldn’t get the batteries out, they are stuck and we’ve tried everything. Waste of money.

When it works it’s good. Good luck for getting it to work when you need it though, this is by far the most unreliable torch I’ve ever had to use.

Frustrated with this torch. I purchased 2 for the cars should we break down at night. To date only used to take the dog to the toilet at night. Using batteries as recommended the torch will just stop, leaving me in complete darkness. Have definitely not used up the 4 hours @ 400 lumens as stated on the torch info. I would never want to depend on this torch in an emergency situation. Taking my 2 torches back for a refund, same goes for the Focus Headlamp. Plus it's $10 a pack of 4 batteries as recommended, and they don't last. I'm going back to my old torch that uses 4D black batteries that have been going for years.

Nice bright torch. Not great for long distances but can light up a dark path really well. 7 light modes is really annoying when you just want maybe 2 or 3 or even just one.

Torch seems to be well made, with a decent brightness. No spring in back to pop out. The beam is more of a flood beam which is good for lighting up a backyard no good for objects far away. Rounded back, would be better if it was flat for use as a candle. Uses widely available batteries. The strobe light is particularly annoying good for using on un-welcomed guests. Button can be difficult to find at times.
