The reflective surface has a really great wide viewing angle, yet the gain is still respectable. This is an ideal screen for a wide room with people seated at large angles to the screen. Screen handles ambient light really well. The material is not completely flat. It arrived with some bubbles and waves. The manual indicates theat they may hang out if we leave the screen down for several days. We'll see if that works.
