Birkenstock Arizona Oiled Nubuck Leather Soft Footbed Narrow Black

I finally purchased my first pair of Birkenstocks at age 57. Only have a few days on them. So far moderately comfortable, but realize there is a probably a break in period. Great colorway. Sizing runs a bit small. I am normally a 44 (10 1/2) but had to purchase a 42 (9) to get the correct fit.

I had read other reviews about the sizing, but I found my Birk's to be my usual size, and the narrow fit seems to be the same as a US regular width. I am glad I went with the Habana color leather and soft foot bed, and am following online recommendations for the break-in period.

I ordered arizona birks and the pair I was sent has glue smudged on one side and the box looked like it was run over by a truck. I feel like if I am going to spend this kind of money on sandals, I should not be receiving this kind of thoughtlessness.

The Birkenstocks are a must have. They are comfort from the get go. However, the confirm to your feet and they get even more comfortable . My last pair last 12 years.
