To compensate for my hearing loss, I boost some of the high frequencies and the sound becomes clearer. When watching old movies or television shows with muddy sound I can improve the sound quality by boosting highs and lows and lowering the midrange. For me, this unit supplements my hearing aids.

The Sub crossover adjustment should be in front, otherwise, nice unit.

Our application was a bit different, shaping audio from two different two-way radio console microphones. This unit is perfect for the application with simple in and out XLR, balanced audio, connections. Additionally when off the input and output of each channel are cut through. Very pleased with the single rack unit requirement too.
