Things I like over the Marantz Cinema 70 it replaced. Drives speakers better due to increased output power. I prefer the remote as it is less cramped. The front display text is bigger and easier to read at a distance. Taller enclosure has a better layout for connectors such as a second sub output. Both made by the same company so software is similar, just terminology like Multi Channel Stereo is slightly different.

I have had this amplifier for around 3 weeks. I had help with the installation although I had an X2200 before. Connections are fairly straightforward but too near the floor for an 80 year old! The only issue is with finding my way around the menus, with the Quick Start Guide being too basic and the online manual too detailed. I have suggested in my review to Denon that an in between 'How to' to help with the menu system would be helpful.
