Boss usually make good pedals and this is no exception. A nice warm bluesy tone range from edge of break up to heavy distortion. Thoroughly recommended.

Every pedalboard should have a Boss bd2. (Bass players excluded). This is now my "always on" pedal. Set to low gain, for rythym playing, and stacked into my sd-1 for leads. Bd2/sd-1 ... the perfect combination.

Great overdrive better then a lot of more expensive pedals. It's worth the money to buy it. Don't waste money on clones get the real thing !!
