I received the scent somewhat involuntarily through my Parfory subscription and have been putting off the test for a while now. This morning, my hand wandered out of boredom towards the countless, neglected samples that represent my very own temple of shame. Now, here I sit a few hours later, feeling somewhat perplexed. It is good in any case, very spicy, and has a very fine balance of vanilla and a - in my opinion - very dominant lavender. But not much else happens over time; the longevity is at best mediocre, which may also be due to the Eau de Toilette concentration, as I couldn't perceive a strong sillage. In short: It is good for what it is, but it is certainly not a wonder of complexity. So how do I want to evaluate a 90-year-old fragrance today that was probably rightly considered outstanding in its time, without portraying myself as a spoiled, ungrateful novice? Not at all, but maybe I don't have to, because perhaps not everything today is worse.

Just as I remembered it years ago when it was not as expensive. Like the crisp, clean fragrance very much!

Caron, never heard of it. Anyway, fascinating reviews. But, vanilla felt extremely described. Regardless, I do like vanilla. However, I should have paid more attention to my instincts! Conclusion: Sprayed - lavender - vanilla - more vanilla - even more vanilla - headache! Too bad, unfortunately a negative experience for me!

I've been buying "Pour Un Homme" for 40+ Years, since I was 16 years old. My Favorite. Nothing comes close! I Love it. Give it a try! :-)
