Acqua Di Gio Eau de Parfum får ofta beröm för sin fräscha, akvatiska och lätt mineraliska doft som nästan alla tycker om. Prestandan är i regel bra men inte extrem; de flesta källor anger cirka fem till sju timmars varaktighet med måttlig projektion, vilket räcker i de flesta lägen men inte för den som vill ha en riktig kraftbomb. Flaskan är påfyllningsbar och märket lyfter fram naturliga oljor och en mer hållbar presentation, något som uppskattas av vissa köpare. Samtidigt påpekar entusiaster ofta att denna EDP liknar tidigare flankers som Profondo och Profumo och därför känns mindre originell. Den ses också ofta som en mindre imponerande efterföljare till den numera nedlagda Profumo, särskilt vad gäller djup och karaktär. För den som gillar klassiska Acqua Di Gio och vill ha något med lite bättre prestanda och en modernare twist är detta ändå ett mycket säkert och lättburet val.

The first spray immediately captivated me. Here, they have strayed far from the AdG DNA. Little freshness, more synthetic sweetness. It starts with a delicious green, synthetic apple, and I perceive the citrus only minimally in the background. What’s interesting is the heart note where the molecule Yodanol appears. This is quite hard to put into words. It gives the fragrance a certain shape. I would describe it as full, round, soft, and ozonic. Alongside it is a pleasant sage note. This gives the fragrance a certain elegance, while the sweetness of the green apple remains present throughout. Longevity and sillage are decent, but one shouldn't be misled by the "intense" in the name. Wearable year-round. I really like it and wear it often. A nice, solid daily fragrance but not the best Acqua di Gio.
