I have worn Giorgio Armani Eau de Cèdre almost daily for several years. It is a very relaxed, unexciting fragrance. It feels calm, woody, and at the same time pleasantly light - without any heaviness. That is exactly what makes it so suitable for everyday wear, as it never becomes intrusive and actually works in almost any situation. It fits perfectly for me in the office. I have also received compliments with it time and again, which is not a given for such a subtle scent. The longevity is average, but completely fine for this type of fragrance. In the long run, it may lack a bit of something special. Nevertheless, it is a very pleasant companion for every day.

One thing is for sure: I love this scent! In the opening, this classic with its citrusy, fresh, and masculine notes is quite unique with a high recognition value that you probably haven't smelled anywhere else. This note also determines the entire progression; I hardly perceive the heart and base notes. Although there are quite a few ingredients listed, none of them really stand out to me. You could say that the right mix makes it. It's okay in that sense, but it's a shame that this wonderful scent doesn't last long. On the skin, the fun is over after 2-3 hours. On clothing, it lasts 4-6 hours. It's a pity that this brilliant scent doesn't deserve such a weak performance in longevity and sillage. One can only hope that Armani gives it a stronger presence, as it still seems to be popular!
