This rose acts like a pleasant companion. It is present but never intrusive and lasts just as long as it should. I like to layer it with Mukhalat Al Tamayoz . I received a 10 ml sample today (thank you again to VTZ). What can I say? It completely blew me away. I will probably have to bite the bullet and buy a full bottle. It's just a shame that it doesn't come as an After Shave Balm, Shower Gel, and Deo Stick.

One of my biggest discoveries on Parfumo has been Oud fragrances! After not engaging with perfume for almost 15 years, I almost missed the Aoud development entirely. Fragrances like Armani Prive Oud Royal, Rose d'Arabie, or Nasomatto Black Afgano are so brilliant that I am glad to have the chance to get to know them. For me, Oud Royal is the best Oud fragrance ever. Rose d'Arabie is also brilliant and wearable for a man. In comparison, Black Oud by Montale smells like camel dung sprayed with rose scent... Sorry to all Montale fans, but Armani has simply executed the Oud theme brilliantly for me. The prices, though, are insane... Between €155 and €210 for 100 ml is quite steep, but I would pay it out of enthusiasm if necessary!!
