Ikar is for me not a men's fragrance, but much more a women's scent. On my skin, it smells creamy and soft, reminding me of the new Hermes Un jardin a cythere, but by no means as citrusy in the top note, rather gentle from the start. And with the carrot seeds bringing a distinct spiciness, Ikar is almost a niche candidate! Although there are no pistachios present, I strongly associate this fragrance with the fine but fatty scent of pistachios. Unfortunately, as harmonious as everything about this fragrance is for me, there is one note that, depending on the temperature, sometimes simply reminds me of that classic citric toilet cleaner theme. On some days I can overlook it, but on others, it is just very dominant. All in all, a great fragrance that might not evoke this problem on different skin.

In the morning, the fragrance gives me a little energy boost and the confidence: this will be a good day! Between appointments, conversations, and video conferences, I recharge: close my eyes - take a deep breath - for a few moments I indulge in the feeling of standing in the middle of a flower meadow. After work, a quick detour to the park. I sit in the shade of the tall trees and watch the children play.
