Pentax Ad 8x25 Wp Kikare

I bought this for my safari trip and wanted something light and powerful. These binoculars delivered on both fronts. Easy to use, compact and covered great distance. I was even able to use my iPhone to take a picture through the lens to capture faraway image.

I did a lot of research looking for a halfway decent compact, waterproof set of binocs that weren't too expensive. All reviews led to this product but I had a hard time tracking them down (they were discontinued). Ordered from Amazon and waited a month before being told they were out of stock. B&H really came through for me. They are exactly what I wanted, work well enough. I am very happy.

Best eye relief in a compact I've ever seen. Sharpness is about a B- -- but at $90 and at such a super fold-up-able small size, they make you feel binocularly calm, just knowing they're in the glove compartment.

I spent a long time researching compact binos to replace my Steiner 8x20's. I was willing to spend up to £250, but I in the end I didn't need to. These Pentax are really excellent. Very clear and sharp, as well as lightweight. The 21mm eye relief makes them even better. I always struggled to get a good view with the Steiner's. Oh, and they have a 30 year guarantee!

Nice for the money and the price here beat others. Arrived quickly.
