Steiner Navigator 7x50 Vattentäta Kikare

I have never owned a pair of binoculars before, but thought it wise to have a pair on my sailboat, so I really only have the cheap ones I looked through many years ago as reference. The clarity and depth of field of these binoculars are amazing. I dont quite understand how its done, but everything is in focus, no matter the distance from the objective. The clarity is quite good, even at night and the compass is easy to read, day or night.

No focusing required. Superior in low light. Great angle of view.

Not perfect, but worth the many. Excellent night vision. Compact, waterproof. Matirials quality 8/10 Day vision 7/10 Liltle chromatic adoration in day and some visual distortion. A bit dizzy if you move it around fast. The "sport auto focus" working very good! Basically you focus with your own eyes, like wen you looking something far or near. You get used with it very fast. All marine binoculars should be like that! These binoculars are really excellent for night vision. If you never use them after sun set you better buy something else like 7x30.
