Great basic compass. Good in the field with the strap.

I've had this for six months on a dozen trips and used it a lot for off-trail exploring and basic navigation on sketchy trails. It has worked great. Does everything I want and has been sturdy enough for rough everyday handling. As a gram counter, I love the light weight. It does not have any alcohol filling, but I find the needle is steady and levels out quickly. Not sure on its water resistance but it handled two rainy trips well, although I usually stow it in my clear map case and take readings through the plastic cover.

amazing Little orienteering compass, it's got everything you need in a really small package. only taken it out once but i was able to use it for everything didn't have to brake out my big map compose once. i was only going to carry this as a back up but i think this is going to be my go to in the future.

Was looking for a small field compass as a backup for my main one. This unit claims to be “waterproof”. Unfortunately it’s not waterproof for anything passed a light mist, water had put it out of commission in just under a month Apparently not covered under warranty.

Light weight easy to read, came with a cord to wear around my neck. Very pleased with this compass went beyond my expectations as price was low.
