A bargain game at the price. Similar to X-Com, but definitely not as good, but it does scratch the itch.

The game has real poor game play. Like the old final fantasy tactics.

If you are waiting for XCOM-2 to come out and you need a need to scratch an itch, this is the game for you. For all intent and purposes it is an almost literal clone of the recent XCOM game except ported to the Falling Skies TV universe- whose backstory fits the concept of XCOM remarkably world. The meaning behind the cut-scenes may not be too meaningful for players who haven't watched the TV series before, but it doest really detract from game play too much.

The gameplay was terrible. There were no glitches or anything like that, but the publishers of this game had definitely done a terrible job. You're not allowed to move around freely, and it is sort of a chess game where you look above everyone and you have to move a character to a certain place on the "board". There is almost no action, and when there is, it is completely boring and doesn't strike me as something I would spend any of my money on. Do not get this game. I enjoyed the show, so I decided to get the game hoping it would be as good, but I was wrong.
