Pc Men Of Valor

Man of Valor is total garbage. Why? Because the game mechanics are too shity. You've got to play the same level at least a couple of times to pass it, since random stuff can kill you very fast, and somehow the enemy can shoot you directly without missing a single shot from 400 yards away with a pistol. The game is also full of bugs, like you can't even see the opening cutscene when you start the game, and sometimes the enemy can shoot you behind the wall. Don't get me started with the difficulty option; it doesn't matter what you choose, you can die easily. Thank God I bought this game at a discount, otherwise I would have already returned this game in no time. Seriously, trust me: for 10 bucks, you can get better games than this one.

Honestly, there's better out there, but if you love the oldschool shooters without the perks and rubbish modern games throw in, you could have a nostalgic trip back to simpler times with Men of Valor.

It was amazing to see a vietnam war game include and also let you play as a black Marine, a protaganist time so rare in FPS shooters that I don't even know if another Vietnam war game has a Black Proitaganist. It was great to see. However some of the cutsences and dialogue felt almost propagandized view of the war, painting many of the valid criticism sof the news of the time as lies or misconstuded. rather then having a nuance aproached its very heavily anti media of the Vietnam war. It could have done a much better job showing the valid criticism of the media coverage of tthe wart but also the valid criticisms of how the U.S conducted the war. Other then that, only get thisd when its on sale, its not worth the full 10$ asking price.

This game came right after the peak of Medal of Honor when the dev team of that game started to splinter. It's a fun shooter that starts off very slow with the set pieces but picks up the pace nicely after a while. It ultimately became overshadowed though by the rivalry between MoH and CoD and never got a second chance even though barely anyone touched the Vietnam war since. On modern hardware it runs pretty great on Windows 11. The only problem it doesn't boot up right away and it's only windowed but that's it. Certainly worth a try to see what could have been the alternatives for Call of Duty if history went a little different.
