Pc Rage 2

I couldn't get it to start, then it launched twice. Closed one instance and headed to the options menu. The game froze while I was trying to turn of vsync. Tried to launch again and it does nothing. I didn't want to play this enough to bother trying again.

What can I say, it's average and less in every way. The character isn't someone you feel moved by. The "go kill BBEG! because reasons!" are bland. The voice acting is as smooth and varied as vanilla pudding at room temperature. The maps were seemingly designed with cover style gunplay but fails to implement a cover style system ( when ducking behind cover you still get shot as well. As you play through the game a barrage of memories of games gone by will play through your head at everything they did better. Gears of War, Halo, RAGE 1, Wolfenstein, doom, fallout 4, borderlands. This game tried to do it all and came out at a 3/10 when it aimed for a spinal tap 11/10 Don't let the marketing fool you, it has about as much excitement as watching paint dry.

Gunplay felt solid enough but the art style and MT's were enough to turn me off of the experience.

Well I love the combat lets get that out of the way. But everything else... and I mean everything is utter garbage. The progression *********, the bosses are horrible, the characters all suck, the writing is trash, the story is trash, the vehicles are trash, the open world is trash, the menus are too all over the place, there are severe grindwalls, and there is an absolutely pitiful leveling system. Absolutely terrible go find something else to get your doom fix.

Had a blast playing the game. Mechanics were great, exploring was fun, dialog was so terrible that it was funny. Unfortunately the game is bugged and the final mission wont load so I can't complete it without losing hours of progress. Looked it up and its a common bug across all platforms and was never fixed.....
