I bought this game since you cant play as legends like fedor emelianenko, randy couture, ken shamrock, Frank shamrock, pat militech, tim sylvia and many more in any other high definition mma game and seeing that ea makes all the current big budget games the controls are fairly similar. When the game first came out in 2010 I bought it and was use to thq ufc series of controls so it wasn't hard to get use to at first. I sold my old copy many years ago and I bought it recently for the reason I stated at the beginning and I personally feel it has aged well. It has some problems but for the first try at a mma game ea did awesome with getting plenty of big names from the overall sports history. My unnecessary book of a review is now done.

if you like fighting games with gore and magic moves this isnt for you. Basically, you create yourself and it follows your mma career around from junk dirty leagues, to the mid, then the super star money making shows. But you gotta train your style and perfect it by visiting gyms around the world. Buy it, its cheap. NOT RELEATED - Oh and bellator make a MMA game already.

I would not pay more than five dollars for this game. The control schemes are terrible and the responses are delayed. You are rarely ever able to perform the actions/moves that you want; forget about fluid combos and easy transitioning from submission to striking. The physics are horrible as well. Two players can't strike/tackle/perry at the same time, they just bounce into each other like two balloons and nothing happens. Overall this game just feels like it was slapped together by some interns at EA. If your 12 yr old kid wants a button masher, get this. If you're a fan of MMA want a fun game that actually requires skill, this is not it.

Pleasing graphics, satisfying combat, controls and game engine are smooth and rewarding if you know your way around the moves. Good fun, could do with more modes as once the carter is finished it lacks a bit, online has been shut down BUT this game is definitely best played 2 player on the same console, great fun
