Sackboy: A Big Adventure erbjuder en färgstark och kreativ plattformupplevelse med många samlarobjekt och kostymer. Nivådesignen är originell och kontrollerna känns smidiga. Karaktärerna är charmiga och röstskådespelet är starkt. Spelet saknar dock möjligheten att skapa egna nivåer, vilket gjorde tidigare delar unika. Bossfighter är ofta repetitiva och inte särskilt utmanande, och vissa nivåer är ganska korta. För 100% klarering krävs co-op nivåer, vilket kan vara en nackdel för solospelare. Sammantaget är det en rolig och lättillgänglig plattformare, men fans av användargenererat innehåll kan sakna detta.

While I wouldn’t call Sackboy: A Big Adventure one of the best platformers that I’ve played in modern times, I did have a lot of fun with it. Hell, for a while, I was even considering keeping it on my hard drive for a while after beating it in order to work on snagging all the collectibles I had missed. Sure, that didn’t happen, but that’s more about me and how I leap to the next thing I want to play before the credits of the previous one have finished rolling. With there being so much that I’d like to experience and only a limited amount of time to do so, it takes something truly special to make me want to at least put a real effort into accomplishing everything possible.

I finally beat the main story after playing it on occasion here and there for a few years. It was just kinda a basic platformer to me that didn't stand out enough and wasn't difficult enough.

Great game. Very chill and fun to play with the family. A lottle less important but the graohics and visual experience of fhe game are cool as well.
