Love the new Lego vidyo, this was on offer, not sure it's worth the full sale price but if you don't get duplicate beat bits then it is.

Fiddly to set up, takes more time that the result justifies. Only works with certain smart phones. Definitely not one of Lego’s better ideas

The idea for the VIDIYO line sounds really cool but the essential part to all this being the APP is just poorly executed. You see, there are only 20 compatible android phones at the time of writing and most of those are old flagship models. So I was shocked to see that my rather common Samsung Galaxy S10 didn't make it to this list so I'm stuck with a few overpriced bricks.

Great Lego set. Mini figure is well detailed and unique. There’s so building to do, which kept the kids busy, and looks of random beat bits, tiles that look like album covers that activate sound samples in the accompanying VIDIYO app. The kids enjoyed exploring the beat bits and trading duplicates that they had accumulated from other sets. I just wish the app wasn’t so frustrating fickle. Overall though it’s a big thumbs up from the kids.
