Bought this set and purposely made it last over a week to build because i didn't want it to end :) It is huge, detailed and very well put together with a few cleverly mechanised moving parts.. Commend the designer for this set indeed! highly recommend for any LOTR fan

Missing pieces has been a constant issue with Lego lately. Last 6 sets me and my boyfriend have purchased including this one have missing pieces. Ruins the fun when you have to stop a build and wait. For the money that is spent on some of these sets it’s ridiculous to not make sure every piece is there

I’d wanted this set for a long time, so getting it felt great. When I ordered it they said that it would ship in 60 days, but it shipped in about thirty! The GWP was a floral picture frame so it didn’t fit with the set very much. My favourite minifigure was gollum. I liked how they printed burning hobbiton on the palantir. Barad dur has zero downsides and is the best set I have ever owned!

My son loves this set. First, he loves the building part and was easy for him. Second, the Sauron minifig is one of the greatest minifigs of all time. and the new orc minifigs are super cool, and the mouth of sauron minifig is also great, wonderful set

this set is just incredible. I cant believe how incredibly fun this was to build, it was almost never repetitive, I was 11 when I built it, it took about a day and a half, i cant describe how awesome it looks, the minifigures are incredible, price is good, it is expensive, but definitely worth it. a full scale interior, nice playability, glowing eye was a wonderful inclusion. lego just went out of their way to design this absolute masterpiece. and they have done a service to all of the lord of the rings fans who wanted this.
