These shoes are extremely light and comfortable. It takes me a little bit getting used to the new sole. They’re wider good shoe so far.

I've been a lifelong wearer of the ASICS Gel-Kayanos line; they fit right, feels great. But I've been curious about HOKA lately, due to the generally great reviews, and talking to HOKA wearers. Decided to give this pair a try. I'm not a runner, but a fast walker on concrete sidewalks, which is not a forgiving surface. So far so good, I'm loving the HOKA Gaviotas and will definitely wear them in the future.

I sent them as a gift to my 84 year old sister. She has wide feet and loves the wide toe box. She says they are light weight as well!

Light, super comfortable and supportive… but a little pricey.
