The Nike Vaporfly 3 is excellent for 5K/10K racing, primarily due to its firm forefoot foam, lightweight design, and carbon-fiber plate, which all contribute to a snappy and agile running experience. This combination of features makes the shoe particularly well-suited for shorter, faster races where speed and efficiency are paramount.

These are great shoes but I would recommend even sizing up a whole size! I’m a size 8 and I typically wear the Pegasus 41 a half size up comfortably so I thought and 8.5 would work for these too, but it was too small for me. The toe box is narrower!

I’m a long time runner and usually go for Nike gear. I’ve had a few models of the vaporflys now, which are great shoes to PR in a long race like half or full marathon. However, the foam on the bottom rips so easy! Literally just fell apart taking off my shoes after a run. Has happened to 2 pairs now and pretty common from what other runners have told me.

Omg, the shoes had me feeling as tho I'm walking on springs and shocks very comfortable I love them so much I'm considering buy another pair

Wow! What a Nike surprise! My daughter order the neon green ones for me on Monday afternoon and they were delivered by Tuesday morning! I wasn’t expecting that! These are pretty unique. Although, one of my feet is a bit wide and the shoe feels slightly narrow; my first impression was impressive! I’ll be using them for the treadmill, stair master and my Body Party Fitness dance fit class (on YouTube!) Feels like I’ll be dancing on foam clouds and I’m looking forward to it!
