The Triumph 19 is a great daily work horse. This moderately cushioned daily trainer is soft but not overly plush making it suited for higher mileages at slower paces. The PWRRUN cushioning is also very forgiving on tired legs making it a favorable choice for recovery days following a race or speed work.

The Triumph 19 is a good shoe. It is pretty light and generally comfortable. However, the cushioning is still inferior to the 17 as it is too firm and not responsive like the 17s. They feel like running on tire rubber for the first 50 miles then ease up a bit but my old Triumph 17s still have more cushion and spring in them with 350 miles run. They seemed to try to save weight on the upper but the 17s were cloud like upper too and wrapped your foot in securely. The new thin upper is just not as good and makes you do the work shifting your foot a bit. I bought 3 pairs of the 17s they were so good and I logged so many magnificent miles on them. I keep hoping Saucony trends back to the pinnacle of the Triumph the 17s but until then I'll mix these in on my runs with some Hoka action too.

Got a gift of Saucony's Endorphin Pro 2 and after using them I tried the pair of Triumph 19, that I had purchased, and there is no comparison, I will be returning the T19 and get another pair of Endorphin Pro 2. Absolutely nothing wrong with the T19, I ran a couple of 8 mile runs & comparing it to my previous T 17, I would stick to the T 17, If only I hadn't gotten the Endorphin Pro 2.

I first wore Saucony in my early 20s when I first started running. Every once in a while I'll try another brand. I always come back to Saucony. Forty years later they're still the best for my type of foot.

I recently had spine surgery. I was active before surgery but needed an all around comfortable shoe for workouts and walking. After my surgery everything has changed from my back to my feet. The sales associate was so helpful in getting me fitted. I love these Saucony Triumph 19. Very comfortable, cushiony, thicker soles and plenty of room in the toe box which I needed. I went with a wide. Perfect fit!
